1.1 When will my order be shipped?
Q: I have just placed my order, when will it be shipped?
A: When you have paid with Paypal, your order will be processed within 2-3 day’s depending on the transaction time of the money transfer.
If you have paid with your creditcard, your order will take 1 week to be processed before shipment.
Have you placed your order on a monday, then your order will be send out on a teusday the following week. Have you placed an order in the weekend then payments will be processed at the begining of the working week, the monday.

A: iLove Stroopwafels will send you the track&trace number once it is available. Please let us know when the products arrive safely or what we can do to be of better service to you.
PS. Please make sure your address has been filled in correctly! We are not responsible for orders with an address that is unknown for delivery. All orders will stay in the country to which they have been send. Therefore we kindly ask you to contact us when the order has or has not arrived.

Q: Why am I paying taxes on my shipment
A: Dutch tax laws state that we must charge either 21 or 9% tax, depending on the products tax catagorie, for every order shipment. This also depends on the country of destination. EU countries will be taxed.

A: If a product is not available or sold out, we will first bring this to your attention and if so desired propose another product that is similar to the one you have ordered. Another posibility is a longer waiting time before the actual product has been restocked.
A: All invoices are automatically generated and may be printed by yourself, or saved as a PDF. If you are a business owner and do not wish to pay our sales tax, please provide us with your tax number. This only applies to customers in European countries. Customers outside this region are withheld from paying our 9% or 21% sales tax.

A: No, it is not necessary for you to create an account. You are able to make a one-time purchase. But we do recommend that if you feel the need in the future to buy once again from our shop, creating an account will save you time. As soon as you start to order a product from our website and you are filling out your information, we guarantee this is done in a safe online enviroment. 1.12 Prices include sales tax?
Q: Do all our prices include sales tax?
A: Yes, all our prices are listed with and without sales tax. 9% VAT for all food products and 21% VAT for non-food products. Only applicable to European customers; Non-European customers will not be charged. Please before orderiing let us know what you would like to purchase and to which country it should be send if this concerns a non-european country.
As of 2020 we will not be charging sales tax on our products.
This is due to a new Dutch Tax option we have complied with.
1.13 How do we pack your order?
Q: How do we pack your order?
A: We mainly use cardboard boxes for our orders. Smaller orders can be send with padded envelopes. Our boxes are just common everyday cardboard boxes and do not bear any company logo’s. You may receive your stroopwafels in an ordinary shoe box, thus keeping product prices down.

A: No, iLove Stroopwafels is an exclusive online retailer.

Q: I do not have a creditcard and I would like to order from iLove Stroopwafels ?
A: No problem, we also accept bank transfers. If you have a Dutch bank account, you can also pay by using iDEAL.

A: Because we mainly sell perishable goods, we do not offer refunds and we do not exchange products, all sales are final.

Q: I have my own shipping account, is it therefore possible to arrange the shipping myself?
A: Yes, this is possible. Please email Customer Services before you place your order, as you will not be charged any shipping costs.
1.19 Expiring date for stroopwafels
Q: What is the expiring date for stroopwafels?
A: Stroopwafels can be kept frozen for almost a year. Stroopwafels that have been freshly baked, and this only concerns our own ‘i Love Stroopwafels’ brand, a maximum of 3-6 months shelf-life.
They are ofcourse most tastiest within a month, but be sure to leave them for a few seconds before consumption, on a warm cup of coffe or tea.
